Terrible move for him and stinks of lazy recruitment on Sheff Utd’s part, never going to be able to handle the rigours of premier league, especially in a side that will need to scrap for every point.

Him & Oli both looked pretty gash today.

They paid about 45 million for the pair of them?

Yeah he’s a poacher. He needed to be in a team that is going to be dominant in games until his all round game gets better and then make the move upwards.

Going straight into a side that doesn’t create an awful lot and will be on the back foot for most games is not the best outcome for him.

When i was watching it earlier, i thought that they only bought him because of our reputation for bringing on youngsters. Obviously they haven't, but couldn't help thinking it.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if you was right in thinking that.

The signing never made sense. Mcburnie is different due to generally being a handful but the Brewster signing looked a shocker from start.

I agree, I thought at the time it was a bad move for him and unfortunately that's how it's panning out.

I thought him coming back was a win win for all parties, apart from his agent most probably.

Certainly didn't look ready for the PL while he was with us. Sheff Utd conned by the Liverpool badge and goals scored stat. Not the first club to fall for it.

Apart from Liverpool who wanted as much cash as poss. They knew he wasn’t making it in their first team so wanted him gone perm.

Klopp has culled his career effectively.

It will be a catastrophic career move and he will have to start again.

I d have him back in a heartbeat to get his mojo back

The ball was in his court. No one forced him to sign the contract.

I suspect the signing bonus and weekly wage commanded by a £20,000,000 marquee signing played a big part in his decision.

However, it's likely a mediocre second spell in The Championship would have dashed all hopes he had of a Premier League payday and therefore I do not begrudge him the move. I suspect he'll prove to be useful for Sheffield when they return to the second tier next season.

I think he is a premiere league player but in the right team...look at Tammy with us never looked like a premiere league player, as we were struggling, but at Chelsea he does,,wrong move for him...the boy is a class finisher, just not getting chances.

Yup.

Natural finisher ends up at struggling team playing poor football and living off scraps. Said natural finisher then ends up getting blamed for his own lack of goals. The parallels to Abraham when he was here are uncanny.

McBurnie was their joint top scorer last season with six. This is not a team that creates an awful lot. Obviously they've brought Brewster in to try and change that without fixing the root of the problem first.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Tammy had to spend another year in the Championship after he left us to develop that far.
