It's not all Trumps fault but he hasn't helped any. I see it as the modern problem. We've seen it here with Brexit.
The two sides of the argument have become extremely polarised and just will not listen to opposing points of view. Even worse, they refuse to accept the results of a democratic vote.
There were remainers who would cheerfully have ripped up and ignored the referendum resultand likewise in the USA Trump is trying anything, fair means or foul, totry and overturn his loss.
What we cannot possibly know until hindsight kicks in is, will Biden be a decent President? It's possible that Biden will make Trump look like the best thing ever, though I doubt it. It's more likely, in my opinion, that they'll turn out to be of similar outcomes. Some things good, some things bad.
Until someone can bring the 2 sides together to talk and get past the aggression and animosity things probably won't change. Biden and Harris won't unite them, in my opinion. |  |
