I thought momentum was the extreme left wing of the Labour Party that put the old duffer Corbyn in charge. More people want to abolish the senedd than want independence according to the latest polls, with PC vote share lower than in 2016.

Track Yes Cymru. The progressive vote in Cymru is around 65/70 per cent. A clear majority. It just needs the progressive voters to realise that loyalist labour means (sadly) near perpetual Tory rule, and therefore Indy is the only way to deliver a radical socialist caring Wales in the tradition of Nye and David Lloyd George. Plaids time is coming. Votes for English nationalists like Ruthless/Reckless are wasted votes in Wales. [Post edited 2 May 2021 8:48]

Less than 20 support PC the only party who support independence in Wales. The people of Wales are united in their desire to remain part of a strong UK.

Plaids time is coming? They will be very lucky to get more seats than the Conservatives next week. Repeat after me, Welsh people don't want independence.

Repeat after me, Welsh people will want Indy once Scotland is free and Ireland is United. The alternative is a diminished Wales-shire stuck with Brexidiot England. George Thomas would be so proud. On his knees obviously.

Repeat after me the Welsh people time and time again have shown they want to remain part of a strong, prosperous, democratic UK. The benefits to Wales are clear, devolution, annual £9 billion subsidy, part of one of the World's most successful vaccination programmes.

I think you will be in for shock if there is a vote for Scottish independence again, there are no indications whatsoever that Welsh people want independence as you well know. Wait till next week when the results are revealed.

'Less than 20 (% ?) support PC the only party who support independence in Wales'. The Green party plus Propel and Gwlad also support Independence. And in one of the polls 51% of Labour voters asked supported it as well. The Labour party may not, at the moment, but things can change.

I did lifelong, unfortunately...or fortunately, whichever way you look at it I suppose. For the indy supporters, answer this: If we went Independent, would we have a hard border with England? If so, we'd certainly need the M4 relief road put in place, how would we fund that? What currency would we use? How would we fund our NHS staff, police force, fire service, prison service, would we have an army, navy, air force? SCFC and that lot up the road, we wouldn't be able to carry on in their league, would we? What would our economy be built on? This should be interesting...

Nearly all of those countries are poorer than the UK and most have had to join the EU and give up their sovereignty to receive handouts form the EU. Not one of those countries listed is a net contributor to the EU. The choice for Wales is clear remain part of a wealthy UK with 5% on MPs in Westminster or leave the UK and join the EU to receive handouts from the undemocratic EU with less than 1% voting rights in the EU's puppet Parliament. That is why only 14% of the Welsh people want independence
