Well c'est la vie I guess. I count myself lucky to have grown up in such a relatively safe generation. When all these bugs are antibiotic resistant people will have to be far more careful, it'll certainly reduce the population!

It's a big area for us at the moment. We are trying to work out what drives genetic transfer of resistance in the guts of animals at the moment. Flaming difficult experiments, especially when someone mucks up 18 months of work by being lazy. I'm looking towards non-antibiotic solutions to reduce bacterial infections in chickens and pigs (though mainly chickens). Made some nice findings in the last few months which could turn into a commercial product (perhaps), but its been a real slog for our group with restrictions. | | | |

In simple terms the rich have all the wealth and gaining more day by day, us plebs are used to generate more wealth for them, we do own stuff and that's the way the capitalists want it, they want us buying their stuff so they remain in luxury while we just get by.
The rich and powerful almost literally live in country parks now, they own masses of property and land, the live in a utopian world while the rest of us endure, crameed together in towns and cities whilst the rich enjoy their space.
