| Impatience! 19:44 - Jul 3 with 917 views | Catullus | I used to be a very patient person. When I was tounger, much younger, for a while one of my mates used to call me "Mr emotionless" because I wouldn't let anything wind me up, I didn't often get angry and very rarely would I show any violent signs, apart from a few dodgy tackles on Sunday mornings. As I got older my patience noticeably faded and recently I find myself very intolerant of certain posters on here. As a result my "ignored" list has grown. I never used to put anybody on ignore...well there was one but he's a special case! I know I'm not the brightest, I know I'm not always right and far from it but there are some posters on here whose lunacy would try the patience of a saint! If I didn't ignore them (another one added tonight) I think I'd probably be driven back to drink! | |

That quote certainly applies to a few on here! Anyway, the football is about to start but the dog needs a walk first.

It's not general nonsense I object to Keith, I've started a few nonsense threads myself and they were meant to be taken as nonsense. My issue is with those people who post utter nonsense (all the time ) in the complete and utter belief it is 100% true AND everyone else is deluded and entirely wrong. Everybody gets things wrong. NB, do not take the "broadcasting sexism" thread too seriously!

It's the downside to social media cat, cant believe the time some spend on here, post after post at all hrs. Nothing wrong with self belief, but not being open to other's ideas and accept there is a possibility that you could be wrong about something, is very dangerous.
| Impatience! on 12:48 - Jul 4 with 729 views | Dr_Parnassus | I have a lot of respect for people that use the ignore function properly. A very underused tool, not that I have ever felt the need to use it. It’s the ones that claim to use it but continue to talk about the person they claim to have ignored are the ones that seem bizarre to me. | |

I see regular posts apertaining to banned posters who can never respond which is simple cowadice. I see also posts to old and defunct usernames. That is obsession

Talking of "cowardice"... Posting under multiple user names, on the same thread? What's your take on this Manselton Jack, Tycoch Jack? Eagerly waiting your response 😀

Some people just cannot help themselves and come very close to online harassment. What is online harassment? Online harassment is not defined in UK law, but recognised behaviour includes offensive, abusive, violent, threatening, racist or explicit online content, which is designed to cause alarm or distress. For behaviour to constitute "harassment" it must take place on at least two occasions. Some people are sailing very close to the wind.

Interesting you reply to OHL's post, especially the part about racism, bearing in mind his opinion/opinions (all documented) of the good people of Ireland... yes, very close to the wind 🤔

I think Marcella evidences just what it is all about. Clearly sent over to here after an absence to create disharmony between people like you and me. It s about dividing us This poster is clearly toxic

Marcella is on my ignore list. I had his number early on. There are posters on here obsessed with American politics and want to post about them all the time, even hijacking other threads, twisting them to "Politics USA" It's strange, shouldn't we be talking about UK politics, there's a lot there to work with. Well my patience has been tested and I've been found wanting, my ignore list is now 7 strong and life is better for it. I can read more sensible posts now from people like Whiterockin, Majorraglan and DrW and not have to trawl through all the nonsense. Though unless they've ignored me they can still see the nonsense I post

I had Marcella on ignore as I’m certain of his identity. Guard dropped . There are several on here in tandem now. If you reply to me in respectful times,it makes you a Xcode x.That is documented. Keith is going to be on the ban button soon. Now then, where where we.

Nah.You re a good egg ,mush. The best posters are always those who stick to topic in a brotherly spirit. I’m chums with AC and according to some he s a lover of mine, like Cat. We are going to form a daisy chain at the first available opportunity. Once a Bike, always a Biker. Son in law just sold his Ninja. I was tempted but wifey not keen on pillion . It s tough on the bottom ..
