So when you wear your masks for any length of time you are creating an acidotic state of your blood, a PH imbalance, crucially to your health you need a balance of PH in your blood stream at all times. Constantly breathing in bacteria you are hurting your body by breathing in your own Co2. Understand that this is not doing you any good at all.
In the main they are highly ineffective in preventing virus's, even N95 masks, for one they should always be fitted, they protect you against TB which is not a virus, it's bacteria.

I wear one, as I have said before just for fear of being embarrassed and called out for it, I don't like it!!, but it's only once or twice a week for say 20 minutes at a time, I do pity the shop workers though, wearing a muzzle for hours on end, and also doing a lot of physical work the same time.

Surgeons change their masks every 15....they didn't when I had my hip replacement. I had a spinal bloack and was awake all through, none of them changed their masks. If they did that every 15 wouldn't there be a risk of cross infection and the need to scrub up again?
