There shouldn’t be (but probably will). Players like Guehi, Brewster, MGW, Laird and Williams are out of our range.

Depends on how much they cost and if they are halting the development of our own players.
We don’t have pace or real ball playing ability at CB.

Absolutely. Potentially end up helping out Liverpool at the expense of our own young players in that position. Short-term thinking.

Of course there won’t be… just like nobody criticised Martin for taking a job where he was reportedly not “first choice”. The shameful vendetta, that was roundly denied, has certainly shown itself to be exactly that since.
But on topic, any player that can improve the side that is out of our price range to buy… and we get an option to take them on loan, we need to be snapping that hand off.
I’d use the full loan quota if we can improve the team with each addition. |  |
