I found it quite wistful watching it all.
Seems Penlan cpmmon hant changed much and it show how sprawling a city Swansea is and always has been. The centre ,as it is now,seems disproportionately small for such a conurbation .
Some dramatic vistas too and it made me quite dewy eyed.

I thought it was alright. Didn’t feel it was any more patronising than these type of programs normally are and the people in it all came across as salt of the earth types.
It did kind of give the impression that this is massive in Swansea though. I’ve maybe seen five horses with traps in the last 10 years. | | | |

No idea. Based on the zero knowledge I have on horses, they all looked healthy and well looked after, so I’d assume they do see the vet regularly (although the young guy reminded me of myself the first time I took my dog to the vet and was baffled by the amount of injections and paperwork required).
Some things in these programs are clearly contrived. I’ve just watched an episode of Clarksons farm, although I can’t deny it was funny, It made the grand tour look unscripted. | | | |

Being semi rural and having many Pippas and Tarquins around us ,our biggest problem is horse shite,arrogant mums on sizeable steeds complete with offspring walking around smug leaving everyone behind their please pass slow jackets.

When I was growing up ,up caemawr and close everybody had a horse b4 a bike....used pitch them up the led or Bishop Vaughan fields,,it was part growing up..and I know it was wrong but going around rustling horses from bym or penlan.. | | | |
