I am sure many on here have seen what is happening in Australia regarding over jealous policing of COVID rules.
Well now freedom of expression is to be banned for some groups. The latest laws going through parliament are banning "BIkers" from wearing gang badges and even tattoos in public, classing them all as criminals.
1 year in prsion for wearing a jacket with badges and 5 years for collecting together in a group. Fascism comes to the world in small doses.

The violence being used by Australian police, specifically Victorian police at the moment is horrendous, it really is.
I am a massive advocate for the police service but there is some real encroachment of civil liberties at the moment, it’s sad to see.
As you live there-is this a central/federal issue driven by Scott Morrison or more being enacted at state level? There can be a lot of influence from state PMs I believe-historically Bjeke-Peterson kept Queensland very conservative through into the 1980s.

A lot of it is driven by Morrison, well driven by Andrews but I’m sure Morrison is fine with it. He (Andrews) is also banning media that he doesn’t like from his press conferences and uses the police to keep them out. There is no free press in Victoria at the moment, it’s Government vetted. Pretty scary really.

There a lot of little things going on in many countries which impinge on liberties being sneaked through whilst people protest over Covid lockdowns which may or may not be distractions.Only the Guardian covers Australia much here-and they are of course very much anti-Morrison

Not for those with a weak stomach, but this is what we are seeing at the moment.
Normal law abiding people can be walking down the road with their families only for 5 or 6 fully grown men to dive on them, smash their face into the ground until they identify themselves and prove they are ok to be there.
People having their teeth smashed in, broken bones, cracked skulls. It’s sickening.
Any media covering the truth there, they are making up charges to get them out of the area only allowing heavily Government supporting main stream media cover it. It’s like China at the moment, never thought I would see that.
It’s awful to see.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the gustapo. heard that Andrews buffoon talking about the vaccine economy in Melbourne. Only vaccinated people allowed to participate, right bullied at school looking gimp.
All the while Him and the ex premier of New South Wales have been taking bungs (disguised as grants) from Big Pharma (as much as 65 million) to lockdown the citizens and coerce them into getting the clot shot.
And they still want you to believe this is all about health
