Mr Martin outlined to Whittaker things he needed to work on. It is a pivitoal time for Whittaker. I was looking out for any Martin comment on Whittaker having outlined the players short comings to the general public. Without this recognition Whittaker would have gone on loan with a one way ticket.
Happily martin acknowledged Whittakers progress and graft in training and he is back in the first team squad in place of Obafemi on merit.
Surely one of Cullen, Whittaker and perhaps now Obafemi are playing loan musical chairs for two perhaps even one remaining seat after january. One seay if the lad from Man city comes. Martin was not happy at the inaccuracy of Swanse's counter attacking late on v Coventry. |  |

I would be more concerned if lifestyle issues revolve around a excessive drinking and court appearances that have set back the career of a player who featured for Swansea recently. He recorded at least two missed appearances from unspecified 'illness' I recall.
Martin called it 'minor' and it sounds like time keeping issues to me. Piroe himself was a the golden boy who lost his way but at 22 seems back on track. | |
