Couldn't agree more. Anyone with a firearm including an imitation should face 20 years inside. You need one for a reason and one alone.

Frankly, in a perverse way,I wish Police would get rid of all firearm officer and let the public see what d1ckheads they are because they do not understand just how dangerous it is out there when they are tucked up in their pits,safe and mile away from trouble.
Personally,I believe ALL British police officers were routinely armed as is most of Europe. They need to stand on a level footing with what faces them .

Actually managed to get arrested at the border in Gib in late July. I was actually on the Spain side...coming back from a rare day out over there. Got a really arrogant, obnoxious guard on the frontier that treated me like shit...I told him to eff off...bad move. Spent 48 hours in a cell...they were 🟨..charge was resisting arrest. Fine was 200 euros plus 325 (made up) for their teared uniforms etc...you see them from the inside in and they are Third World. Only just paid the fine...a month ago....a total shit show. When I was ready to go up in court....a deal was made...I'm street wise. Made a rough assessment of about 800 nicker. 520 I could take. I'll pay now...oh no it doesn't work like that...you have to provide a Spanish address so we can send it out there. But I live in Gib...ffs...sorted a mate's address who lived there. The fine never arrived...I paid it 3 weeks ago after getting a lical Spanish lawyer to sort it out. Lesson.....don't feck around in Spain because it's a minefield....which you'll know nothing about...until it's too late. Will invite other stories to back me up..
Edit: A real funny was that Wolves were playing a friendly against Real Betis... in La Linea that day. We intended to go but couldnt get a ticket...and it kicked off...about 20 arrests..and my mates presumed I was one of them.!!.

Behave and it is very unlikely you will face any issues with law enforcement, the race thing is a myth, certainly in this day and age You are statistically more likely to be shot if you are a white criminal, for obvious reasons - the backlash you get if you shoot a non-white criminal is horrendous regardless of situation.

I might have said before I was spoken to by The GC when still in service. I dont scare easily but felt very awkward and I was doing someone a good turn. British people have no idea at all about police brutality,althoigh Im sure this phrase here was meant in a sarcastic way.

I've never had any real problems with the police. I have a simple rule though, always be polite and forthcoming. Learning a bit about local rules always helps too.
I've been to Russia, Spain, Turkey, Greece and the US of A and that approach hasn't failed me yet.

The point is resisting as you refer to it. In many cases,any perceived disrespect is followed by pain.
Until you deal with other Police forces,one has no idea at all as to what constitute brutality
