Unconfirmed latest data from the EPL that only a very small percentage of players, around 9% have had a booster jab. Approx 29% are double jabbed and 26% single jabbed.

Italy
Serie A says 98% of its players have been double jabbed. Juventus and Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini took to social media at the start of December to urge his followers to get their booster jab.
France
In France, 95% of players have been double vaccinated and there are a low number of positive cases in Ligue 1.
Germany
In the Bundesliga, 94% of players have been double vaccinated. Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich tested positive for coronavirus in November and said he wished he had chosen to vaccinate earlier.
Spain
More than 90% of La Liga players have been double vaccinated and stadiums are still allowed at full capacity.

It's not just about getting vaxxed, it's about obeying other rules, shielding from contact outside of work. If th footballers don't get a grip the whole sport in England could get closed down. The EL players will be fine with all their riches but lower league players could really struggle. | |

Your point on jabs & date of the second jab is valid - however age is not meaningless as until last Weds if you were 30 or younger you could not have got a booster jab in the UK unless you were in specific employment roles or vulnerable regardless of how long ago you had your 2nd jab. | | | |

Now if you go out it’s spot checks for your Covid certification. Bars and restaurants mandatory. In any enclosed space like shopping centres or shops you must wear a mask, but that’s never changed.
I’m certain the criteria will be tightened as well.
