| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Unless you're one of the fastest players in world football; being asked to stand flat footed 5 yards in the opponent's half and expected to win a foot race when the ball is inevitably kicked over your head is a mightily difficult ask.

If you are a centre half and a ypung one at that, why would you enjoy playing left back when you are on loan to improve as a player;your bet position. I feel sick right now

Ridiculous Rich, he got these idealistic and unrealistic idea's, by playing players in positions they're unable to play, because they're not enough, top quality players they are not.

Steve,I actually do not enjoy slagging off ;I certainly do not for the sake of it but given this forum is just that,a forum for opinion,it give me a conduit to express how feel.I am certain many feel the same but wont admit it as they will be accused of; 1.not living in Swansea 2.Not going to games 3.Not going to enough games 4.Not drinking enough before games 5.Being disloyal or always slagging off anything Swansea. But Martin is a danger I feel. Just who replaces Whittaker exactly and who covers for Piroe.

We have t used him to the best of his ability. Could have been exceptional for us if used correctly. Wil probably go down as a waste of a loan
| This is Patches O'Houlihan saying "Take care of your balls, and they'll take care of you." |

Goes back to my point of playing Centre Backs as exactly that, not try and shoe horn them into something they are not, Cabango is a classic case in point, he's really struggled and has looked like a fish out of water playing out of position, not his fault, fair play to Bennett I think he's tried to make a fist of it, but he's got the pedigree and the experience of playing at various level's, football isn't rocket science. Expecting young Centre backs to play anywhere other than where they served their apprenticeships is a mistake, they're still learning that one position, the pedigree and experience just isn't there, understandably. I know people want the Liverpool player to be a star and all, but he was very poor in most of his appearances. It's not like he was the only one being asked to play that unorthodox role. While Cabango was being exposed in wide areas up against wingers, Williams wasn't getting the basics of his position right. Quiet game against Hull where he looked assured, then all down hill when he had to do some defending. It was a waste of a loan. There was no sense bringing in a young right-footed centre half when we had two of our own desperate for minutes, and an experienced option of the same profile. Club needs to plan ahead, not just bring in whatever hyped up starlet is available.
