After deliberation and a contentious consideration, despite the inflammation and protestation we have decided to leave the top three as the only contenders in this years prestigious vote. Choose your weapons because tools they are not.
I so much wanted to win this prestigious award, but sadly, I've now finally come to the realisation, that I have neither the intellect, humour or literary grammar to ever achieve my ambition.
However, I do gain solace knowing that we have three very worthy finalists (although there are a few others worthy) so much so, that I'm in a slight dilemma as to whom I should cast my vote.
Lets take Dr P. He is very outspoken and quite controversial, but not afraid to put his views over (I like that) Then there is Dr W. He is always straight to the point, and very seldom sits on the fence (I find myself giving him more up arrows than Dads army gives me down arrows) Then there's Builthy Comes over as a real honest guy, and the type that I'd certainly have a pint with, although I expect if politics came up in conversation, it could get a bit heated, as his views on Mr Drakeford are miles apart.
I'll continue my deliberations over this evening, and maybe even sleep on it, before deciding on this very important decision.
Shocked to be in the top 3 as I haven't posted much lately. I am not a Dr, so must be the underdog. True Swans fan though, that's all that matters. Vote Builth haha. Oh, and I will turn up at the awards night in Nottingham.

There is one outstanding POTY that is not in the final 3.We need a winner who is able to have discourse without snide,bitchy put downs aimed purely to impress the impressionable. We also don't need cutchy ,comforting ,banal ,anodyne drivel .

Dr P’s absence is definitely affecting his vote count,
Don’t think it’s my lack of activity of late to be honest, that’s probably worked in my favour and allowed some of the anti Dr P brigade to calm down and take a breath. Maybe time has been a healer for some and as a result have landed in the top 3.
Considering I largely refuse to go down the route of opinion because ‘it’s the popular one to have’, and yet still find myself in the top 3, is probably a testament to the appetite people are beginning to have to read views that aren’t just the skin deep popular opinion ones, so certainly see it as a vote of approval for it, which is extremely encouraging to see.
It is of course a direct result of having an environment which allows these views to be aired without others feeling they have the freedom to use vile tactics to attempt to shut it down, so credit to you chaps for that.
I would say It’s virtually impossible for a poster like myself to win such a vote as unpopular views are so polarising, that’s why at the start of the year I award myself the unofficial POTY and that will be no different for 2022, 10 times in a row as it stands
