I'm not concerned about the veracity of the O Reilly bid. Nor the strength of the squad.
It's the bits I've already raised above.
The article goes further than surmising as to where the moneys coming from. Rodon proceeds are mentioned as is investment put in place by Silverstein. So is this:
- a top-up of the existing loan (debt to the club)? Winter did allude to this potentially happening.
- money from the existing loan? Although the article suggests this month it was sorted, not the over year old loan.
- actual investment? Can't be true unless he wants nothing in return. Otherwise dilution proceedings would commence, which as far as we know they haven't.
And the interest point - is the club paying this!? To Silverstein? Is this an additional sum on top of the 5% for his initial loan? | |

This season low midtable ( generous description) the owners are geting us into debt to add to a squad which in terms of results has been very sketchy at best
