Practice makes perfect ? But are Swansea City practising imperfectly ? 10th Feb 2022 12:10
It’s going to be a rowdy fixture on Sunday. A game which has increased in intensity over recent years. There’s no doubt there will be commitment from Swansea City which we didn’t see at all on Tuesday night at Stoke, but will it be enough ? 0

Goal Piroe Please ! 11th Feb 2022 12:00
Regardless of his lack of goals this year Joel Piroe has most certainly made many clubs take notice of his prowess to create and score goals. His last League goal came on December 11th last year in the home defeat to Nottingham Forest. Although he did get one against Southampton in the FA Cup in another home defeat. 0

What problems can Jamie Paterson cause Bristol City ? 12th Feb 2022 08:28
Bar a very late change of mind from Russell Martin on Sunday, Jamie Paterson is odds one to start tomorrow’s game against Bristol City. The reasons are obvious with his connections to the robins and of course he is regardless of recent issues one of Swansea City’s top performers. 0

First Liam Walsh now Jamie Paterson. Their shelf life came to an end ‘Nigel Pearson’ 12th Feb 2022 10:38
When managers repeat themselves as Nigel Pearson has done yesterday regards players it certainly needs highlighting. This is Nigel Pearson in July 2021, and then in February 2022. Not a lot of difference, and the same mantra. 0

Swans and Robins fans given the benefit of the doubt for today’s high risk game 13th Feb 2022 08:03
Swansea City welcome Bristol City to the swansea.com stadium this afternoon in a category C game ( the highest level ) The authorities policing the game and both clubs have not set any restrictions on supporters attending the game in the hope common sense will prevail pre and post match. 0

This is the exact type of game we have to win if we want to make any progress in the league. 2 games in hand over this mob.

This game is made for Pato and hopefully Piroe if he starts.

They are 16th in the league and one of the few teams we have earned more points per game than, fairly local rivalry, a few players playing against their old club, at home in front of a crowd desperate for a win.

2-0 Pato and Piroe.

Just a thought but instead of watching the crowd watch the match , that way you may not get so upset , although on reflection you're better off watching the crowd .

.

IF Martin is learning, we should bounce back big time for this.

We have the players, who no doubt are champing at the bit to play how they know best. When they do this we tend to win. Our senior players draw upon that winning feeling, the winning know-how inculcated over the past two seasons.

Especially if we play like we did in the 1st half of the last home game, with a similar set-up up top. Our front 6 is table topping.

Same 3-1-4-2 set-up. Burns for calamity Cabango RCB. Downs CB. Grimesy calling all the shots in The pivot.

Cooper keeps banging in 4 - 1s.

Our time for a 4 - 1.

Oba hat trick. The crowd goes wild, wild wild.

And he donates his hat trick winning jersey to The Cause.

This one is "must win" game though it will be tough given our injury and susoension issues

For me I think we should go

Fisher
Cabango Fulton Manning

Downes Grimes
Christie Paterson Wolf

Obafami
Piroe

Bench
Hamer
Burns
Ntcham
Lati
Joseph
Dhanda
Smith

Odds for the game for those interested in probabilities.

Swansea City 19/20
Draw 7/2
Bristol City 5/1

We are odds on favorites for this one, which looks about right to me. Giving us an implied probability for victory of a shade over 51% (although its more like 48% after the over round is taken off).
