I watched the video and it's not really clear. Surely Corbyn wouldn't want someone kicked out for complaining about Russia's invasion of his country?
It seems to me all sides need to compromise here and it may mean a big change, what if all former Soviet bloc states left the EU and NATO and formed their own bloc. Separate from the West but separate from Russia too. Would that be enough, would it be the buffer Putin says he wants?
Or would he see that as a threat to Russia too? Is the only thing that will satisfy him is another Russian empire with all former Soviet states back in the fold, so to speak? | |
