Lowe was too cheap but he club were wheeling and dealing and got Obafemi in fast and he may be the better prospect at least in the long term. Roberts was too cheap but was out of contract in one year and was not minded to sign a new one. Downes on the otherhand is under a long contract and in the managers plans.
If Leeds stay up I would expect good fee well in excess of £5m. |  |
