Even at the end, and for the first time possibly boo’s greeted the final whistle. But we do have to look at the reasons for such a poor showing after a hard fought win in midweek. 1 Theory click above. Weirdly, click below.

| Russell Martin has a Swansea City theory on 10:40 - Mar 20 with 859 views | jasper_T | I mentioned the other day that we have 8 games in April. If Martin isn't proactively rotating his preferred players then it should surprise no one that some will pull up injured, and others won't be capable of giving their best. Azeem Abdullai in midfield has done well with the u23s, physically looks ready to step up to men's football. Lincoln McFayden is a Martin-style wingback who isn't much of a defender but effective in the final third (when he stays onside). It's probably a bit early for first year scholars Joel Cotterill and Ben Lloyd, but if we're serious about using the academy to build something here then they're still a better cameo option than sticking with a small squad in dead-rubber games and then moaning that he'll need to buy more players. Put some of these young lads in the shop window for loans next season. Prove the pathway. | | | |

There’s no good in the manager complaining when he has free hits at football matches with nothing on them. Makes no sense. Blood them.

| Russell Martin has a Swansea City theory on 11:13 - Mar 20 with 826 views | Badlands | Admittedly he's only had a few minutes but I have been impressed with Ogbeta. A couple of poor decisions that I put down to being a little over excited, but three lovely crosses that the front players should have done better with. Burns … CB or not in the team. He doesn’t have the pace or experience to be wide. | |

Same here. I liked him at Blackpool and yesterday. One of the few good things to come out of either game

I agree with you and it makes no sense. We are hardly likely to be relegated and neither are we going anywhere near troubling the top of the table. It seems like an ideal time to see how capable some of our younger players are. Doesn't Martin need to find out who he wants to keep and who he wants to loan out or sell in the next window?
