Says the guy with a union jack profile picture. Wrexham will have other opportunities to get back to the league or be promoted. This is Wales's last chance to qualify for a meaningful world cup.

100% Welsh & proud of the fact, as I am of being British. For years I followed Wales both home & away (don't bother anymore) but Id pick Swans success over Wales without a 2nd thought.

But then again you're displaying a flag that is the greatest danger to our national team's existence. Bizarre.

Why don't you bother anymore? It's better now than ever. You never get trouble between Swansea and Cardiff now. It's enjoyable.

Yeah it’s such a regular thing Wales going to the World Cup….promotion and relegation is something we both do quite frequently…..I guess as you don’t go anyway (with your Union Jack) it doesn’t really matter to you. Wrexham will get there day, they are in the rise anyway

I have to ask. How can you claim to be British and Proud yet make a comment about Wales (a nation not even represented in modern form on the flag you display) being more important than Swansea City. It has to be Swansea City all day any day.

Not the same for me. Away games with Wales was normally a mixture of Swans & Cardiff from Pencoedso it was a good crack. Again Swans all day long.

The subject of having one British football pops up quite often. First it was just a one off for Olympics, then its the women at every Olympics. Drip drip drip. The English media love bringing it up and other country's FA's around the constantly query why there are 4 national team's making up Britain (I don't blame them for bringing it up by the way). But the less fuel these people get the better. No team GB. Ever.

Swansea people are a proud bunch.I am born bred. Wales does not come close in my affections. Wales win then fine but dear God,come on. If you're from a village in mid Wales, then you don't have the heartstrings attached to Swansea and its sports. This is what being a Jack is all about and Jacks were and are Swansea people. The term Jack has morphed into being a Swans fan but A Jack is a Jack. And by the way,our coach is not one.

Oh here we go. Perch believes that if you Re not from Swansea your support for the club is second rate. There's a hell of a lot of second rate supporters about then. So since my first games in 1968 and an estimate of about 700 - 800 games attended since then, my support isn't as good as a Swanssa born person. Right. The site owner is in the same boat as me. Your one game a year makes you a better supporter I guess.

The women's games is being encouraged by 'people who know best' for the nations overall well being. BBC with nothing else to show is well into the women's game and the women are tagging along on the back of the men's game. Swansea city ladies went on a European campaign and I asked if the money for this comes from Mr Winter Club account. There a is confusion as i have noted Chelsea beating Man city 3-0 not realising it was not the men. Already in the USA the women players are demanding equal pay for the national side as if they are the same sport. I regard them as two separate sports. Team GB was forced by Tory politicians for the London Olympics 2012. I do not support Team GB men or women. What other citizens world wide can represent two international teams simultaneously in FIFA affiliated competitions? There are none. British citizens are unique. I supported Korea and Sueng Ki in 2012 and was happy to see Team GB eliminated. A leading Olympian organiser and Tory MP advised the TGB coach in the media to pick Beckham for the team. East end boy done good and English national treasure.

I would go further and say that given the number of games you get to see n a season and the distance you travel to watch those games, you are more committed than the average fan. I am a season ticket holder and have seen maybe 30 games this year home and away. I consider myself an average fan. I know there are many fans ( the Red Lion group, many others who travel independently ) who get to every game home and away. Whether you are from Swansea, Mid Wales, Carlisle or the Wirral, the commitment fans show to get and watch their clubs on a regular basis is commendable. Hopefully next season will see us all united behind the team and Martin, cheering us on to promotion. I really hope Wales make it, but if Wales and Swansea were playing home the same day, I would always choose to watch Swansea

My good mate Paul, who died far too uoung just before Covid, from Crossgates, near Llandrindod, was a supporter for over 50 years. From 1979 until 2019 he missed 47 games. Home, away, friendlies and games abroad. One of the best ever Swans fans. Anybody want to argue with that. I hope not. RIP Paul mate. I look at your seat every home game and it still brings a tear to my eye.

Prior to covid I travelled 33,000 kms to watch the Swans. That’s roughly the equivalent of every Swansea home and away game for 3 seasons on the spin. I reckon I’m still in credit as one of the best and most committed then..
