I actually had a few mouthfuls of IPA at The Bell right in the city centre of Nottingham last weekend before the match whilst I waited for someone to turn up ( they didn’t ) How anyone can drink alcohol I don’t know, it’s vile and I’m so glad I don’t anymore. |  |

My daughter ,expecting her first in September is walking 15 miles tomorrow with wifey for a charity walk of 20 miles . Hard as nails
I had a splinter in my finger this week and was upset .
Women are much tougher mentally ,contrary to what real misogynists think .
We had some old photos out recently and my daughter was viewing them l she said,who s that . It was my paternal grandmother .it was on Caswell beach and I had my knitted batters on ,I d be about 3. I asked how old she reckoned and she said 70 ish.
She was 51 . In those days ,life was hard in South Wales and we were not a poor family unit .
My own missus is 70 next month . We didn’t think she d reach 65 but she looked at least 20 yrs younger than my Nan at 51 yrs of age . | |

I remember way back it was bedlam in Carmarthen on a Saturday night. Saw a guy being chased there once by the police he was naked and had stolen a horse, and that was early in the evening.

Indeed. I was in Carmarthen once and jumped on the wrong train after too many tipples and ended up in Whitland late at night. Not sj experience I'd like to repeat. | |
