Plymouth and Charlton 19:08 - May 31 with 1611 viewsmagicdaps10

Friendlies confirmed.

Promised my boy a few away games with him this season, Plymouth for an overnighter might be a good one for his first.

Earmarked Coventry away so the missus can see the Donegal family clan based up there.

I don't like friendlies, but Plymouth on a Saturday I probably would have gone.
No chance on a Tuesday.

I wouldn't mind Plymouth on a Tuesday night, it wouldn't be a drink afterwards in this case.
Not done Home Park, nice part of the country down there so the 2 together might be a good choice if I can arrange.

If you stop over, go to Blockhouse Park.
It is in Stoke Village, about a mile or so from Home Park ( 4 minutes drive)
Highest point in Plymouth offering stunning 360 degree views of Dartmor, Bodmin Moor, Plymouth Sound and the Naval Dockyards.

Another great trip is to catch the ferry from Plymouth to Cornwall (about 20 mins I think )

Might go myself, as haven't been there since the historic game in 1979

Been to Plymouth twice recently, just not to watch football.

I can recommend Looe about 12 miles down the coast. I have not been there in the height of summer though.

Same here, apart from having to wait 2 hours for the police to release my mate.

Charlton is quite a nice place. Nice views of the Thames barrage close to the Valley ground. Some pretty horrible people over there.

The Bugle Horn is a horrible unwelcoming sort of place. I was thrown out of there for not buying a pint in good time. I was remde how much the Sky subscriptions cost and told to get on with it.
