It's frightening B,it really is. We are completely in the hands of a manager who has no experience of note at all.
This keeper is good with the ball at his feet though.
I feel for both Benda and Hamer.
I haven't felt this low as regards our club for some time
What happened to the Trust court case thingy
Yeah just reading now Keeper very good with his feet but overall keeping average. Can't see too much on this Darling apart from being a 22 year old centre half.
Loves a long pass by the looks good job I didn't take that bet with Dr P.
Also likes to put it about a bit which you may like OHL.
To be fair he looks exactly what we need, with a heavy dose of acknowledgment that this is a YouTube highlights reel.
As I said from week 1, we are missing the explosive link from defence into attack which is vital for a possession based game. Ashley Williams used to do that part for us under both Roberto and Brendan. Some of those passes on that clip look very much like Ashley Williams switch passes.
Gives me encouragement that we may be switching from the turgid 96% short game once again in January. Let’s hope it’s for good this time.

I certainly hope we dont.....you need to start realising I do often post tongue in cheek
What ambition have we? what does it say about the quality of our young centrebacks if we are shopping in Div1....what about Cooper and Cabango..who came through our acadamy playing a passing game? I m being critisiced for criticising Martin but it does make me wonder does Martin really know what he is doing? we were all raving about Cooper and Cabango last season ...and again they have come through our acadmay playing the Swansea Way...under Cam Toshack playing passing football....I I rememebr there being calls for Cam to get the main job as he had the U23s playing the "Swansea Way".....obviously the "Swansea Way" is not the "Martin Way"

Entitled to your opinion, but as I said, you've had Martin's cards marked from the very start as you didn't like anything negative said about Cooper. I find that odd personally but each to their own.
Raving about Cooper last season? He was at Newport County then didn't get a look in when he got recalled even when recovering from his injury. This Harry Darling guy may be a long term replacement for Naughton, who knows?

Big game Saturday Vetch, fingers crossed aye?
Cooper shouldn't have anything to do with Martin.
Others can praise Potter for example without slating Martinez, they can praise them both. It should be no different here.
However any defence of Cooper against the wave of rubbish that gets thrown at him, is seen as a slight against Martin.
Most fans will react to a manager in accordance to how the team is performing. We are a bottom half club at the moment, something we haven’t been in the football league for a very long time, people will be critical of the reasons they feel that is contributing to that league position.
I support the club not a manager, and I’m sure everyone else is the same. In 5 years time neither Cooper or Martin will be anywhere near our club, club comes first always.

You miss the point...what my gripe is how last season despite us being at the top of the table, and ending up in the play off final Cooper got slaughetered. This season despite us struggling to win games Martin is "untouchable"
YOu will find I was critcal of Cooper at times during time here too when it was warranted. I am always amazed that when you see his critics post on here you woiuld swear that Cooper had led us to succesive relegations not play offs!
Yes big game Saturday my fingers are crossed for a Swansea win because thats my team the team I support the team I want to see win...
It will be interesting to see the result....dont forget Cooper is a lucky fraud as described by some on here and PS.....
I get it for many reasons he wasnt liked and his style of football was not to the taste of otheres despite it be more attacking that the present brand we are watching.
He has already shown this season he is capable of surviving without Ayew, Geuhi or even a preseason!
Lets hope our manager gets his tactics and selecltions right....I want US to win...I wont be here gloating if we lose but I will be praising Martin should we win
I dos see Darling being Martins choice ofr the role currently played by Naughton...but why cnat Cooper or Cababgo play that ...as I stated they were brought through the acadamy playing the "Swansea Way" passing the ball

There's plenty of other centre halves that have come through the academy aswell, why not them? This sums it up though doesn't it? You're criticising a signing before it has even been made due to your gripes with the manager, weird.
Lets see how things play up. I haven't been happy with the last two games, Reading seemed a massive game to me due to our run of fixtures and we pretty much give them the win. I'm not happy Ntcham didn't play against Boro, and despite it being a strong word, I find it quite cowardly when playing away from home playing with the three he did. I'm not happy Whittaker hasn't played more instead of Cullen who has consistently made no impact. Eyebrows have been raised slightly but overall I am still confident Martin will get us to where we want to be.

Well seeing as how neither Cabango or Cooper have seen much game time this season and they are the "current acadamy graduates" in the first team squad that is why I refer to them.
My gripes with the manager come from his performance to date....not because of who he iswhere he was born but his results and his performance.
For the last two seasons we were close to knocking on the dorr to the PL we werre consisitently in the top third of the table...this season we find ourselves in our lowets league potition ofr 13 years!!

Cabango hasn't seen much game time?
Started 11 games On bench for 4: We won 2 of them. Injured against Reading, and had Covid for two which resulted in him not being fit for 90 against Hull.
As I said, we shall see where we end up. Long season ahead.

Brandon didn't get a look in because he did both ankles, one after the other. Missed all preseason.

Injured his ankle on being recalled from loan wasn't it? I thought he was fit for a chunk of last season, didn't realise he done the other so soon. What pre season did he miss though? Was a regular with Newport, and played for us start of the season but fell out of favour after the Preston defeat.

Tongue in cheek you say
And there was me thinking you had a man crush on Cooper and had it in for Martin since day one.
Fingers crossed for you that Forest can nick the points on Saturday. Same goes for AC.
We reported this a few days back, but cheers Risca as always ðŸ‘
Sorry Darling but Swansea City don’t go Fishing at those prices 4th Dec 2021 10:20 A report late last night from an undisclosed Swansea source referenced the club interested in signing goalkeeper Andrew Fisher and centre back Harry Darling from MK Dons. Both are highly thought of at MK but figures of four million pounds plus are absolutely ridiculous.0
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
