A lot isn't right at the moment. We have a striker excluded due to attitude who could have won the game for us last night. He should have been on the bench at least. We also have two loanees on the bench who are itching to play. Instead he introduces Ntcham and Pato who atm are not worthy of a place. Plus our inability to see out games is costing us dear. A few games like last night we could and should have won or drawn. We could easily be looking at top 6 or even 2nd right now. Enough strength in the squad. Just need the right man to motivate them. Early enough to make the change and make a massive impact this season

That is as it really is.I worry that we cannot seemingly sack Martin.I refuse to believe he is still there because of ability. Last night,my missus watched it with me,as well as the Liverpool game on my tablet. I said ,well a draw isnt really bad but we had the chances to have won the game. She then said..."what's he doing " meaning Naughton. Another loss ,another kick on the guts. How much more Our fans are brilliant really and patient beyond belief but maybe now they should start getting on Martin's back in a bid to get him ousted. The club is bigger than any of us. The only person whose word we have to take for Obafemi's apparent "attitude" is Martin. He was on the bench last night, just not in the squad. If he had a serious gripe he wouldn't have been there. Maybe it's Martin he's got a problem with?

Winston Let's be frank. None of us has a clue as to what lies beneath right now

Seems a bit far fetched that has a problem with Martin since his Burnley move fell through. His problem is his bank balance and the increase a move to Burnley would have got him

Many a head turned in football and elsewhere by money. Silly think is though that if Obafemi is genuinely sulking as he did get his transfer, best thing he can do is go out and start doing what he does best and earn a move in January. Not sure that downing tools ( if that is what he has done) is helping his cause either here or with prospective buyers?

He may well have wanted a move to Burnley. But as he didn't move to Burnley there is no sense whatsoever in leaving him out of the squad. We're not in a position to discard players capable of scoring the number of goals he does just to prove a point. Last night was a prime example of that. We've done the exact same thing previously with Bennett, Fulton, Ogbeta, Whittaker and others. Frozen them out for not meeting Martin's "ideal" and persisted with lesser or out of position players instead. [Post edited 14 Sep 2022 15:31]

That's right, Martin wasn't in charge at his last club.
