Naughton has a lot to answer for! Seen them given but he needs to just make sure he wins the ball there for me and not try and win a cheap free kick.
The subs I feel were the right call but disappointingly the players who came on contributed F all, 2 experienced players who you would expect to offer something. |  |

Poor organisation I'm afraid, even at the level I played we always had an extra defender to cover the break and had our quickest defender as part of the defence for an attacking corner. | |

The most experienced player on the pitch for is and he should be relied on in that situation and he pulls that out of the bag.
I think we got the majority of the game tonight bang on and a moment of stupidness from Naughton messes all the hard work up for us.
Next game it has to be Darling coming in to play that Naughton role with Steven in for Sorinola. I would consider putting in Oxo Flex instead of Fulton who was as much use as a chocolate teapot in the role he played tonight. | |

The set up was perfect, 2 defenders with Naughton covering.........Naughton controls that situation no problem but comes up with that flop to the ground.
He either goes 100% to get something on the ball, he takes the player out or even let's the striker take the ball and stand him up..........he has gone to try and win the cheap free kick and failed miserably. | |

If you are talking after the mess-up by Naughton then I can't argue with what you are saying.......if I was Cabango then I would be expecting Naughton to deal with it but he should be aware of the danger if something goes wrong.
I always look at the source and if Naughton does the job at source then we don't have the issue that follows it.

For corners Cabango is always sent up as was Wood tonight. When that happens they are no longer the defence and should not be expected to make up 30 or 40 meters when the ball is cleared to tge half way line.
Other players must be positioned to block the break away. Tonight they weren’t nor have they in so many games.
By 93rd minute we should have been well ahead.
Too much deference to Piroe, others should go alone more a d no one attacked Cabango’s knock down in the first half.

We were crying out for some pace between midfield and Piroe.
If Martin carries on with the 3cat the back then he needs to go with 2 up top, hopefully Obafemi gets his head sorted and comes in to play alongside Piroe with Grimes, Allen and Cooper as the Midfield 3.
As per the post by Keith, Pato and Ntcham don't do enough at all for me....those 2 coming on last night, atleast one of them should be taking that game by the scruff if the net and creating something but neither had any sort of impact on the game. | |

ALL our players try to look smooth and better than they really are. They pose ,if you like.
They really do not do much that is effective.
Passing the ball sideway and backwards even when pressed;it still goes on although Benda has the sense to boot the ball clear ;a lad ruined by Martin.
Ncham has talent but doesnt utilise it .
Paterson should have been binned long ago
