What a fantastic footballer, where he stands in world ratings I didn’t know but he surely is in the top one ?

82 in October as well.

Has to be the IMO the greatest footballer of my generation (65): although Escape to Victory not his finest moment

Absolutely fantastic player, but it's so difficult to judge players from a different era

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Taking aside tournament pitches which were pristine, the football played on then would be what we would consider to be cow fields compared to today's and the footballs well the less said the better .But yes in general difficult to compare

A fantastic player.

So exciting to watch, just a different class.

Called Jordan out for being a cheat against Wales as well.

Yes, but he was playing when only 6 Countries took it serious.

Do you think that tarnishes his star a bit?

If he does die during the world cup, then it would give the football world a perfect opportunity to pay him the respect that he deserves.
