Is being given a lot of credit for the way Morocco play.
He was technical director for 2 years until July 2021, with Moroccan fans saying he totally reshaped the way they play.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I reckon it would be a great gesture if Morocco made it to the final they’d invite Osian Roberts to the final.

I understand the love in for Moroccans. Africa and all that.

It is one of the few nations I have very little time for after a trip there in 1989. Sort of mugged for 200 pasetas then threatened and harassed after that. A planed trip to Agadir was cancelled and a two week trip became a half day trip. Straight back to Costa del Sol.

Morocco it seems to me play anti football. Tough organised and negative.

It’s effective football when done right though. Greece won the euros doing the same thing.

Ok for Wales with Superstar. None on the horizon these days .Wales need a new team based plan. Croatia is the model. Massively overachieving compared to their population.

Wholeheartedly agree with the comments about Roberts.

IMO Morocco play like bus parking Cardiff would with Allardyce were in charge. but, with a much weakened Face squad they could get through.
I'd not be impressed with the possibility of a Croatia vMorocco final.
Vive France.

Spot on. If he has ambitions then surely he will come back at some stage, unless Viera moves on to a bigger club than Palace & takes him with him (Arsenal, Man City)

Osian Roberts and his gift to Morocco ‘Could it be Swansea next’ ? 13th Dec 2022 17:41
Osian Roberts has lived a coaching life under the radar, outside of Wales most football followers would struggle to name where he has had success or when. And then of course there’s the fact he has never managed at senior level and has centred his development around off piste locations. And one is Morocco. 1

I thought in fairness they had France on the ropes in the second half. Their build up play and energy was massively impressive but they just missed that little bit of quality in the box and the final ball. France have it and won.
