How much of that £150m spend was on display today? My guess would be next to nothing.
They are in the Quarter Finals of the League Cup and pushing towards a safe mid table position in the Premier League.
Considering that £150m spend you bang on about still only brought their squad value up to 18th in the league, it’s completely irrelevant what was spent in comparison to us.
Forest are overachieving in relation to their spend+squad value, we are yet again underachieving.

I had a soft spot for a Liverpool as they saved us from being wound up by writing off the fees we refused to pay for their players . Different now as they are a world wide brand. Might as well follow Next or Lidl Utd. | |

Common sense is great, but when people aren’t able (intentionally) to see that spending £140m on players to add to a squad worth almost nothing, does not give you an advantage over a team who spend nothing with a squad worth £200m for example… of which the vast majority of the Premier League is. | |
