Why would you not care about the cup?. Martin is a mid table manager. That is where all his 4 seasons in the game as manager have been. It would be unusual for him to be in a relegation scrap or pushing for promotion. The cup is the only way to get sporting cut throat hazard (the essence of sport). The likelihood is Swansea will finish 8-14th.
Martin has to play Whitaker if he knows what is good for him. Cooper had to play Ariola and Morris. It was what my memorable "January cluster-Flex approaching" thread was about.
Martin is sending out three players with pace. Oko Flex, Obafemi and Garrick. He as to bring in pace for sure. | |
