There’s nothing to indicate they will, but of course it’s very obvious that with Russell Martin will go a few others. 2 It’s the Hatton Garden heist all over again, click above.

The new manager whoever he is will have to start from scratch, I for one am very concerned at this prospect. The Martin haters will have a field day but their wishes which will come true will bite us on the @rse as with our tightfisted owners at the helm we could be in for a rough ride next season.

If all, or most of the money from sales was spent on a rebuild for the new manager, I could accept it. Any new manager will want to bring in players and we will have the funds. If it all goes into day to day running of the club questions need to be asked, if this was the case where is the new investment, if any going.

We saw the accounts recently, why is this still a mystery to people? Championship clubs spend more in wages than they make in revenue simply in order to tread water. We made an 8 figure loss in Martin's first season even though he was given "no support". The reality is that a large portion of any money coming in (either investment or player sales) has to be spent on running costs or else the club goes bust. Welcome to football in the Championship.

They will never, ever, ever understand. Hell, just this morning we've had Perchy suggesting that the Sigurdsson money has gone missing despite it being explained to him about a dozen times over the years. Football supporters are spoiled little children, ever demanding more.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Not a mystery at all. What I am asking if there is substantial investment coming in, apparently much more than the £10M first stated, surly that is enough to cover the club shortfall next season. Do they really need the £16M plus Keith has listed above. There must be room to spend as we will be at least 5 of the starting 11 missing. EDIT That is without counting in the compensation for Martin and his team. [Post edited 21 May 2023 10:46]

Who s Perchy ? Why? Again Read what I post and don’t let your arrogance cloud the issue . Where the profit went, where the parachute payments went . It’s no reason to spout hate . If you can’t post without bile, don’t .

Bustards aren’t they . Maybe, they should all be like you. In fact, only the likes of you should be allowed to watch games as the rest are cretins . No point in forums either.

If those mention leave they will be replaced either from within or with new faces. Grimes has been decent when Allen or Ntcham have played alongside him. But we already have Ntcham, Allen and Cooper. Wood has found good form in the last couple of months. We have Cabango, Darling and three under 21s the same age or a little older than Wood. Piroe, can’t argue that he would be missed as his support play has improved no end and 20 goals is 20 goals. But … Cullen (different style) has more goal per minutes and Whittaker has yet to be trusted or had a chance to form any sort of partnership. Tbh I don’t see any going for large sums.

I can't see us getting anything near the values that have been mentioned myself, hopefully I'm wrong, but I can't see it.

If they are a part of Martin’s desire to join Southampton and there’s a desire for him joining them trust me the owners will screw them right down. Because if Southampton renege in any gentleman’s agreements to get them in Martin will be back to square one. They will go for sure, and the prices will be high. Southampton will have no choice. Same as Downes when he came here.

We all know that it takes money to run a football club and we appreciate that money has to be pumped in just to keep still.....BUT these Yanks claimed they had the sort of funds that would take us to the next level which was clearly a lie.

At that time they had Huw Jenkins doing their player trading. He turned a profit on numerous players before they made that statement and maybe they felt that could continue ?
