I think it's quite simple, everybody knows Martin is going to Southampton, if he walks away from us (and his staff) then get the lawyers in and take them to the cleaners.

As soon as he walks declare breach of contract and look to get our new manager in place ASAP.

Given all the stuff in the media we'd have a very good case all I need to know now is, as well as a financial punishment, could Southampton be punished in other ways? Points deduction, transfer embargo, does anyone know?

I can't really be bothered to look!

It's probably the point when players with relegation clauses get paid less money.

Or pull the plug on him speaking to Southampton.
If they want him they pay up if not it will be disappointing to lose the cash and the chance of a good manager but might teach him a lesson.

1st July is the date when clubs officially move divisions.
It could be a long month for the Swans.......

There’ll be a specific deadline where they stop being under the jurisdiction of the PL and move to that of the EFL

Sounds right to me. That’s when it happens on football manager anyway.

Quite possibly as contracts normally run until June 30th. Could be a league cut off date.

I'm not interested in teaching him a lesson if that's thats all the Club can achieve, as far as the Club should be concerned then which ever way it goes the least we could be going for is whether he had been tapped up by Shampton

Let's be fair here, it's in the public domain now that they are going to move once they are officially a championship club........its been told to the world.

Let them crack on, move on and get this team to fight for the remaining 700k, we as a club then need to move on with our plans.

It certainly works in our favour when reporters are putting Soton plan out there for all to see their underhand plan.

Poll: Are the owners doing enough for Swansea City
