Duff had a remarkable league one season with Barnsley last time around and is more of a possibility to feature as the next Swans boss than some of the names mentioned of late. 0 If you want to remove this post from the board index, just click the hide post icon below. Several seasons of experience and a track record of delivering results, but perhaps a bit "off the radar". He's certainly achieved more in his career than Martin had at the same stage.

| Is a Duff approach in the making for Swansea City ? on 08:25 - Jun 17 with 1922 views | jojaca | I watched the League one play off final and I can't remember a thing about it. He wins more than he loses so far in his career. I would have more confidence in this appointment over a novice like Chris Davies, but this appointment would not fill me with excitement for the coming season. | |

The information was reported as it was at the time. It isn’t anyone’s fault those who may or may have not been approached have either turned down or or were not good enough. And as we also know this isn’t over yet. A great doctor can work for a thousand days and save lives or even just be a good doctor. The minute they walk out of the toilet with bog paper hanging from their trousers they will be remembered for that forever.

It’s hard to know what is going on with so many opinions and clarity is difficult. We will continue to do our best with what we have 👠

Agree, but it's pointless speculating, who knows what's going on between the 2 clubs. It will all come out in the wash

Just had a quick look at the Barnsley forum. Not a single bad word about him they are all desperate for him to stay always a good indicator. I watched the play off final against Sheff Weds remember saying to my son would love there manager with us they had a player sent off after 60 mins. then attacked Sheff Weds for the next 60 including extra time. Barnsley were very unlucky to lose in the last minute. A big upgrade on Russ.

| Is a Duff approach in the making for Swansea City ? on 13:24 - Jun 18 with 953 views | QJumpingJack | Duff comes across as very ambitious. I have only heard good things about his time at Cheltenham. If he does become our manager - will he be here in 12-18 months time. If he does a half decent job - flirting with the play-offs then surely another club makes their move a la Martin 2023. | | | |

Same on Facebook post earlier. Barnsley fans really want him to stay, believing he can lead them to promotion next season. Sounds like a good appointment for us if it happens

| Is a Duff approach in the making for Swansea City ? on 16:00 - Jun 18 with 798 views | magicdaps10 | Personally it seems a good appointment and in line to what we need from last season. Read that he has a bit of a Cooper side to him although I would bring up the fact that his Barnsley team scored 80 goals last season in league one his teams seem to have an end product but most importantly his Barnsley team had a pretty decent defensive record to build on something that's much needed on Martin's team last season. It certainly wouldnt be a wow appointment but one that certainly has potential to take on the Martin work and tweak in the area that is needed to progress. | |
