Can Page afford to play a weaker side on Thursday night ? Warning ! 4th Sep 2023 14:46
Wales take on South Korea on Thursday evening in a warm up for Rob Page to assess his squad going in to next Monday and the crucial game in Latvia. 0

Take South Korea lightly at your peril : Page under fire ? 7th Sep 2023 08:00
Wales take on the Korean Republic this evening ( kick off 7.45pm ) in a friendly that the visitors are most certainly not taking lightly. New head coach Jürgen Klinsmann is looking for his first win and although his position as manager isn’t under immediate threat, he needs a win. 0

It will surely be fringe players with an important game coming up next Monday

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Yes, you follow England. Can’t see them progressing beyond the 1/4 final stage.

Been told that most gogs wont be going on Thursday, Latvia only gave us 1k tickets but when the home tickets went on sale loads of Welsh bought them, including me and builthy 😁 we were going anyway.

Since then loads have booked flights so I suspect that's part of the reason for such a low number, although i suspect quite a few more will pay on the day.

There will be at least 3000 Welsh fans in the Skonto Stadium at Riga.

I thought that when we played Armenia at home... gotten to the point where I'm not confident of us beating anyone.

Armenia were an excellent side and caught wales napping. The Argentinian teenage forward ran Rodon and Mepham ragged fed by a Russian based technician.

Armenia play a slick passing game with sharp movements and accuracy. Under Page the Welsh tempo has dropped and they looked slow lumbering and mechanical. Just like northern EPL teams.

Morrell symbolises this. Caught dozing more than once. Against Turkey he as too slow and got a red card.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Any reason why you want to call them Russian and Argentinian? Seems a weird bit to add.
I didn't think Armenia were that good, from what i saw we were just abysmal, the Ramsey and Ampadu midfield two left us in effect playing with one in there.
Page is tactically inept and came up against a seasoned manager who has been around the block.

I called the technician "Russian based". Many of their players were in the Russian league like Krasnodar. Ararat Yerevan was in the Soviet league 30 years ago. Armenia theoretically has a poor league of their own and like the Welsh get their better players from other leagues.

I got the names mixed up as the teenage forward with an Argentinian name Luis Ranos was actually born and raised in Germany and the formerly US based Argentinian born technician Lucas Zakaryan, 31, with an Armenian name was born in Cordoba and played for Columbus Crew.

The teenager forward played like a superstar having Rodon Mepham on toast he had an excellent night. Armenians like the Irish have had a 'diaspora' where more of its kinfolk live outside its borders than inside their borders.

I give credit to them Rodon and Mepham were toasted and worth big money.
