Agree no chance, but it would be a nice story. I think Gylfi would be welcomed back. If he did reasonably well then a good final year or two in a place where he performed in his pomp might take the edge off the bitterness about what has happened. Thirty-four now, so not very much playing time left. | | | |

I think that was the case for the uk media, but he was named in foreign media at the time.
Also uk media stated he was a 31 year old Everton foreign player. At the time, Everton only had 2 31 year olds and one was English. It wasn’t hard to work out. | |

Naming people in circumstances like this is a major breach of privacy and would probably result in litigation, I think it was one of the issues that featured in the Leveson Inquiry. Once someone has been charged, it’s in the public domain and they can be named. | | | |
