Seems to be turning into a genocide.
Hospitals, schools and orphanages bombed.
60% of homes bombed.
Where will it end ?
I think very soon others will be involved and god help us.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It’s ethic cleansing. They want all the Palis out of Gaza, and if that means killing them all then that’s what they will do , they have said as much. It’s their final solution. I have never seen anything like this. It’s an abomination

Horrific report on the main BBC News website now , what happened to women and children on Oct 7 th , I could not finish reading the article in full , got a daughter myself , awful .

Propoganda and bias excuses will follow on from both sides from now regarding this issue .

After reading the actions carried out in this initial opening salvo between them , now think it might be time to stop sitting on the fence from my viewpoint , splinters are hurting .

This might re-ignite the debate about whether the actions of HAMAS/allied groups are comparable to those of Nazi Germany, and whether it would have been possible to press on with the invasion of Germany in 1944-45 in the present age of instant mainstream media coverage and social media commentary.

Not condoning any of it and we could go back decades or even longer and discuss the region and Jewish homeland. Like any war there has been brutality on both sides. This current episode ( regardless of what's previously gone on) was started with Hamas massacre. Hamas raisin d'etre is to wipe Israel off the map, so creating more mass genocide.. It's a terrorist organisation with groups in other countries who really can't give a fig for the Palastinian people. As if they didn't think that Israel would not retaliate big time. They are baked by such lovely human right democracies like Iran. If there was ever a proper homeland for Palestine, it would become another extremist Caliphate and still be a threat to Israel.
The Jews more than any other race have been persecuted for centuries. They were persecuted in Europe well before the National Socialism in Germany. Read a few books on the Spanish Inquisition where Jews could either convert to Catholicism or face an horrific execution.
Unfortunately the situation is now even further exacerbate.

That can't be verified though, even the IDF couldn't confirm it happened. However, we know what is being done to Palestinian civilians, men, women and children by these demons in the Israeli govt

Their aim hasn’t changed.
It’s fundamental to Hamas, backed by Iran and Russia,of course .
Israel continues to go about it in the wrong way though

As I said not condoning any of it. . However history will tell you the Israeli state will want revenge and show it won't back down.

As I said I'm no way condoning it. Quite the opposite but once Hamas committed their atrocity the revenge would be huge. It's been well published that Israel want to try to wipe out Hamas from Gaza . Unfortunately as always innocent people will regretfully lose lives.

Eric Bogle wrote in The Green Fields of France. A song about the massacre in Belgium and France in the First World War.
'Mans blind indifference to his fellow man'.
People can believe or worship whatever they want as long as it's benign and harms no one. When it comes to nations they should all be secular, with no religious influence. That may may take centuries or may just never happen. To a degree we've more or less learnt to live in a civilised and cordial way in Europe. The middle east is centuries behind.

What's alleged is what allegedly the other side did the other way around, the day before I was reading about what you was reading about, I had read the same thing about a 12 year old Palestinian girl and what IDF soldiers had done to her, Iike you on that occasion I could not finish the article, i dont think what i read was after 7th October either but before that date but not years and years ago.

This is not an opening salvo, hundreds of Palestinians had been killed this year alone before October 7th, the way our media cover the conflict it gives the impression that one side did something and the other side reacted that is not the full story or context.

Why were the Jews persecuted ?, is there a particular reason.
Others have been persecuted but those persecutions are often swept under the carpet and not commemorated, it has been said that some members of a so called historically persecuted group dont want other persecuted groups to be commemorated.

I would not say it is in anyway definitive that we in Europe have learnt to live in a civilised way and that the Middle East is centuries behind.
There is a huge war raging between two of Europe's largest countries at this moment in time between Russia and the Ukraine, in the 90s there was full scale war in Yugoslavia, France has had a go in North Africa and Indo China, England in the North of Ireland, two World wars centred around Europe in the last hundred years or so, European countries getting involved in the Middle East in the last few decades.
I don't think it's cut and dried to make a definite call to say Europe is civilised and the Middle East is not, perhaps both are uncivilised.

Why would that be seen as anti semitism? A govt, a regime is just that, it's not a people. I have nothing against Jews. My Aunt married one from Australia with Russian heritage. I thought he was a great guy.

I could say those that support Israel are Islamophobic.I can tell though when a particular regime acts like demons

Aren't the Palestinians Semites too?
