A wise move, that will increase the fee, i wonder if there is a buyout included.

Swansea City : Recent transfer rumours rebuffed again ! 9th Mar 2026 18:30
We recently asked some fairly obvious questions over the future of Zān Vipotnik at Swansea City especially after information regards clubs chasing him were disclosed. Sunderland and Rangers being two of those clubs. 2

The latter is my guess. Let's hope he scores a few more before the summer to add even more to the fee.

quite possible he will have a release clause eg £18m

and there maybe a team performance clause.
eg if Swansea do not finish top 8 in season 26/27 then talks with other clubs can commence at £x million.

Vipotnik will not be here in 26/27 season, well not from September anyway.

New Vipotnik contract makes the summer even more interesting 20th Mar 2026 20:20
The news of Zān Vipotnik the Championship top goal scorer getting a new deal on Thursday afternoon was expected by some to an extent. Zān was spotted on Thursday with the Swans TV camera crew on the beach in Swansea which fell in with news of those talks we reported on February 26th. 0

Some of it explained. Sorry we couldn’t get it on before.
