Was sighted in Swansea recently, no harm in that I suppose, but he’s not even in the squad now. Took Huddersfield Town off his social media I’m told a while ago. I haven’t checked just had some info. Something isn’t right. I hope we have positive plans for him, there’s something about him, I think he just needs an opportunity.

If we were academy Cat1 that's where he would have gone and probably it would have been the correct decision.

I suppose that’s the way it goes for players at times. The Swans have done the same with Samuels-Smith and Casey. Massive expense a top academy.

This is what I have been saying, there are massive failings in recruitment, to highlight the couple of successes is papering over the cracks. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Bobby Wales cost 250k.its a shot to nothing. You've got posters above saying they see something in him. I'd get him playing for u23s
| Bobby Wales on 08:16 - Apr 15 with 1900 views | Dr_Winston | Still early days. Dan James once went out on loan to Shrewsbury and couldn't get in their squad. Needs a full season somewhere next year though, either here or on loan. He'll be 21 at the end of the next campaign, and that really should be decision time on whether he's up to it. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

| Bobby Wales on 08:29 - Apr 15 with 1866 views | swancity | According to his Wikipedia stats he scored 3 in 38 at Kilmarnock and then on loan 12 in 27 at Alloa in League One Scotland. He’s done nothing really in his career to warrant a move to a Championship club and yet strangely there was some hype. Some fans even sang his name. It must be that he has a nice name. He might improve. He has to. Or it’s back to League one in Scotland. Or Penybont. | |

| Bobby Wales on 08:33 - Apr 15 with 1863 views | heatwave | He was a Prem league regular in Scotland last season and can't get a start in league 1. Which is why we should maybe cautious about our returning players from there being automatic starters/first team players for us next season. [Post edited 15 Apr 9:50]

Yes my buddies who knows the league better than me was not impressed with standard. It am just pleased 5 young players are getting senior games under their belt at or before the age of 21. Three or four more playing in RoI and League if Wales in their teens. Scout for youngsters look at basic skills and need to pick up prospects before anyone else does. One hopes BW he as not turned up for training blearly eyed after a night clubbing. He has a young man swagger when he arrived. [Post edited 15 Apr 17:15]

He was played as a winger at Kilmarnock and most of those were sub appearances as their manager preferred older experienced players. Have a mate who is a die hard killie fan who absolutely raved about him, reckons he’s the best youngster they’ve produced since Steven Naismith.
