I think there’s five charged now, but the whole of the court is closed, nobody allowed in, no reporting whatsoever. There’s going to be barrel loads of shit against him in that trial, allegedly.
Or to avoid more Mandelson questions ?
UK has gone nuts. And yes I pay taxes there still.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
Its getting very close to the point where I say enough is enough , no more reading , posting about how this once great country reached the standards of some backwater 3rd world nation led by a despotic 3rd rate excuse for a man let alone leader. As they say "power corrupts" and he's a prime example of that quotation in all of its glory.
"In a free society, the State is the servant of the people—not the master."

Dan Wootton is hardly an impartial source of journalism, he’s worked for a number of anti Labour outlets including GB News and the Daily Mail. He left both after a number of controversies. Judges often place gagging orders on the press during trials, let’s see how things pan out and get the facts when it’s in the public domain.

Of course major. Pointless jumping to conclusions.

So 'Ange' it is for prime minister?
Although we vote for a party not an individual, I have always thought that if a party wants to change the PM mid term there should be a general election.

Based on the last couple of years Badenoch appears to be the most capable leader, but one of a party in significant decline having pissed away years and many opportunities to reverse the national malaise. She's fighting well in service of a lost cause. A bit like William Hague was between 1997 and 2001.
She's in a no lose situation here though. Either Labour whips their MP's to support Starmer so the whole party will look like it's closing ranks to defend the undefendable, or they get a free vote and Starmer is probably toast and she gets to take the piss out of the Ginger Growler or Crazy Ed at PMQ's until the next election.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

If its not a free vote it a clear sign of Labour defending the undefendable and putting an incompetent leader before the country. The public are not stupid and will see straight through it and furthermore will not forget. If Labour have any future in the long term they need a free vote and a formal enquiry, what are they trying to cover up. Well we all actually know that answer.

Look at it from a Labour MP point of view. If you vote against Starmer you may have the whip removed but you’ll still be an MP until the next election. If you vote for Starmer you’ll be in a dying Labour Party and still only be an MP until the next election as Labour will face total wipeout under Starmer.
There may be a few with an eye on cabinet roles in the next three years but for the majority of them they’ve literally got nothing to lose.

I agree wholeheartedly. Having said that we'd have been all suffering from poll fatigue under the previous administration.

Starmer his hangers on and cronies have got out of jail by blocking the vote of no confidence on his tenure , vote against me and you are toast .
Talking heads on the Beeb knew this was a nailed on conclusion , likewise the Mandy scandal will be buried under red tape , waffle and more lies to cover rear ends .
Bojo, Truss and Sunak were usless as Leaders which has now been found out later .
Maybe Starmer at a later time will join that band of frauds trying to save their skin.

How can he be allowed to block any votes etc, we are supposed to be living in a democracy, thing is he couldn't spell the word. Can't stand the clown.
He's all these latest stabbings having interviews etc and rightly so, but I never saw any of that when there's been other atrocities, like those three young girls killed in Manchester.

I chanced upon some scurrilous claims online about the state of Starmer's marriage. This wouldn't really be our business except for the possibility that a departing wife would tie in with the other rumours. To be honest I would be surprised if these stories are true. I suppose we will find out in due course.

The story version that might help Starmer in the trial of the young men is that a shadowy Slavic figure paid these men to damage property associated with the PM, and it is that which connects them rather than direct personal dealings with Starmer. This could hint at the involvement of a hostile state actor, something which might get the PM off the hook if it could be shown there was a targeted operation to damage him. The risk for Starmer, if the hostile state actor dimension gains credibility, is that there is an alternative scenario involving a honey trap and blackmail. That would have really serious national security implications. Of course, these are just my ramblings and probably far from what has actually happened.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
