| Swansea City : Is there a reason why Tom Gorringe is filling club positions from on 21:44 - May 10 with 4070 views | union_jack | You ask why the majority ownership allow it. Should the question really be whether they are aware if it. If they’ve given him carte blanche to recruit those positions they do it with a great amount of trust in TG. Are there avenues to Tyler Morse et al highlighting what you have posted in the link? | |

With the shrewd decisions already made and the experience and money that specifically Morris has. Is there any relation to the report you did on Mikael coming in (possibly)? Also any truth in Marg with his attitude? Vital and someone who works on match days mentioned possible issues? Rumours and all 😂

I can't see them not knowing the ins and outs. One thing I know for working with business people who have alot of business and have a lifestyle we all wish, they love to have as much control as possible and Micro manage. It would be strange if they was sitting back and letting all this unfold.

Well, we’ve mentioned Martyn and Ryan Maye. The reasons for us are clear. You can’t run a club with ten coaches. Not saying btw they don’t know but it’s a formula that has come to Swansea from Bristol Rovers. So the question needs asking.

well this seems a little worrying, with all the good work that has and is going on since Matos has come in not to be ruined by off the field politics, early days i know but dont spoil the feel good that was at the end of the season at the club, this is when top leaders come to the fore and its looking like the owners need to get a little more hands on at the moment

Time for a senior management reset in my opinion and its a good time at the end of the season. A proper DoF to run the football side, do we need that many coaches, just why has our head of recruitment left and not been replaced at this vital time. Plus an intelligent, experienced administrator to run the business/administration side of the club, slashing the window cleaning bill just doesn't cut for me. As supporters who are paying customers we can see many things off the pitch witch are just not getting done properly, ticketing, comercial, Swans TV, club website are just a few of the issues and there are many more.

Surely if it was developed the comercial income alone would more than cover the expense of running it properly with regular updates on ticket availability/sales ect ect. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| Swansea City : Is there a reason why Tom Gorringe is filling club positions from on 13:50 - May 11 with 3195 views | FullSentenceSwan | Glad this has been mentioned. Theres clearly some sort of power grab going on at Swansea. Considering every fans forum has promoted transparency there has been very little recently. The Worth thing was very odd timing. As the report says, there is a very solid core of players thanks to the scouting and recruitment which was led by him. Whether one or two are sold in the coming window or not, theres been some incredible value added. I would have been less confused if there was a DoF immediately announced as waiting in the wings to either pursue Worths targets for this summer or introduce his own ideas. But here we are several weeks later with no real news other than a few names being mentioned. | | | |

Clearly very good staff are leaving which is the concern, especially when momentum was there

The issue at Bristol Rovers was the amount of staff he brought in that he knew who then left causing the club constructive dismissal cases. This has to be avoided but it seems lessons haven’t been learned. It seems a personal agenda is being put forward with the club coming second.

| Swansea City : Is there a reason why Tom Gorringe is filling club positions from on 11:38 - May 12 with 2604 views | Vetchfieldboy | People who had to deal with Gorringe at Bristol Rovers are staggered that he was appointed to any admin position at Swansea City let alone end up as CEO. Before he was sacked by the new Kuwaiti Rovers owners Gorringe had rid the club of all of its long term employees, many winning their cases of wrongful dismissal with the assistance of a HR lady, Louise Smith employed by the club. Detested by those working at the club, she had ice running through her veins she even became football club Secretary before being sacked by the Kuwaitis. She was so ruthless in carrying out the staff cull that Gorringe rewarded her by ending up in a relationship with her, leaving his wife and six children and living with her in a flat above a sweet shop on the Gloucester Road near the ground disregarding the fact the woman was fifteen years older than him and married herself, this soon became common knowledge throughout the club. When the Swansea owners decided they needed someone as a COO they approached a specialised recruitment company. It is more than likely that the HR lady was behind firstly identifying the position and secondly drafting Gorringe's CV on his behalf. You would have to presume that the CV was not exactly accurate as he left Portsmouth after the club had gone into administration twice, shown the door at Cardiff City and then incredibly leaves his home town club Brighton of which he is a life long supporter before they were promoted to the Premier League to join lower league Bristol Rovers as commercial manager, eventually being sacked there as well. However, he still claims he worked for a Premier League Club. I can't help but believe our US owners didn't carry out proper due diligence and take outside references on Gorringe rather than naively trusting a head hunting recruitment firm's word for it. Gorringe gives the impression of being hopelessly insecure which is not surprising as he is now on his fifth club and still only thirty seven. He appoints people to wrap themselves around him who then feel they have to owe him one. Mangan at the training ground a classic case, will the HR lady get a job at the Club and is Eddy Jennings (Joey Barton's Batman) still hovering as the new DOF ???? Who knows, there could be many more in the pipeline ! | | | |

She runs her own HR company as stated. She now works for Allan Web in Stonehouse, Gloucester where I know a few people, one at director level. Gorringe had six kids ?
