That's probably about right, I think if we beat Villa and don't humiliate ourselves in the other games he'll get more time but can see the crowd turning vocally at games if we don't get any better.

Agree Sunday will tell us a lot, we have had 2 solid weeks to prepare, train, organise. Get our fitness up, our tactics right, etc. If we come out still with a lack of purpose and direction like we have seen in previous weeks, I think that will be close to the final straw and the crowd will start to turn...
Results wise I am not too fussed, I would expect us to lose to Liverpool, it's a shame we couldn't play them after a Champions League game, although they do have Real a few days later so might have one eye on that... But if we lose playing well and see a marked improvement/that the players have a game plan and want to play for the manager, then I will be happy to see how we go.
I don't want to hear anything along the lines of players being missing on intl duty either, cos that's the same for every club and worse for Liverpool who have had far more players away these last 2 weeks.

If we draw I think he should carry on and try to beat Villa . We need 4 point from these two home games to bring us almost half way to a target of 17-18 after Burnley.
Expecting a stand out result against Chelsea or City is wasting valuable recruitment time .
I have previously posted that if we are not on target he should go after the City game , but I would be in favour of putting Clint in temporary charge for City and Chelsea in the hope of a massive positive vibe behind him getting us something .
That would give a new man some "easier" fixtures to start .

I have tried to be consistent . I have never said he should stay unconditionally although a couple of times i have posted that he should carry the can right back down again but pragmatism is getting the better of me .
I have just tried to see things from a different viewpoint and I still would much prefer him to turn it round and succeed .
As I say if we can get to 17-18 points by the Burnley game we are on target for around 36 points with 8 games to go .
A couple of wins in the last 8 and we will be about there .
So we need 8 points after the next 4 games and realistically that means a draw and a win at least from the next two games .
So a defeat on Sunday and IMO its very difficult to avoid being cut adrift in a months time .
Hence the slight change of heart .

I think a bad performance on Sunday will be the end for HR. I think we all know LFC should win, but you regularly see the lower end prem teams at least push the big boys for some of the match when they play them at home. If we are limp and offer nothing, I think we can say goodbye to Harry.
