Seeing as we have a thread on Nottingham Forest, and a thread on Wrexham, and now even a thread on FC Sporting Scotty Parker here’s a PNE / Preston North End thread. Thats PNE currently standing for PheNomEnal.

Like us they’re a point off the play-offs (with 8 points) but a place above us on goal-difference. The phenomenal factor is they haven’t conceded a goal and scored only one. That’s 5 (FIVE!) 0-0’s and a 1-0 away win.

Let’s say you go home and away with the Rs or stream every game. How would you feel if you’d watched 9 hours of football and only seen 1 goal? Even if that goal was possibly goal of the season … phew what a scorcher!



Strangely tallying up chances created Preston have three more than us 75 to 72 and we both have 25 attempts on target.

Points wise they haven’t had a bad start. Obviously defence wise it’s an amazing start. And I’m curious to know what the Preston fans feel about it. But as a QPR fan could you watch hours of stalemates punctuated by the occasional worldy?
