Was last night his 14th caution in the league this season?

If so, we should leave him out of the side next week as another caution would give him a three match suspension for the start of next season.

He has been very good in the last two games.

'Ginger', along with many of the players, did very well last night (another booking!!!)....he may not have the armband but he is a captain like Cook is as well.

Agree Gazza, Colback was excellent on the half turn last night and got us on the front foot and ahead,

Strong candidate for MOTM although JCS excellent, Chair a special mention for two good set pieces but over the full 90 thought Field was immense.

I'm pretty sure it was his 13th.

So many candidates for MOTM. Chair got it from Sky. Field was excellent. Hard to ignore back 4 when 1 of the best attacks in the Championship prove so toothless.

Take away his it of petulance ( two identical bookings two games running) and we have a player who I would make first choice for my midfield destroyer.

Another who has stepped up when it mattered. If he can deliver those performances on a consistent basis and cut out the silly yellow cards, we'll have some player on our hands.

Two big performances this week from one of your senior players, which is exactly what you have them for. (Latest mindless yellow card notwithstanding).

Marti has changed his game tactically.

Before he was 10 yards higher up the pitch, this gave him the opportunity to score the odd goal. However, it allows the oppo to drop balls in between the midfield and defence, which means they can get out of any press we are trying to do.

We saw this in the first 20 minutes against Millwall at home. Then Marti instructed Colback to drop 10 yards, which he did, and that was the end of Millwall's attacks.

On his return from injury, it had to be instructed out of him again for a few games. Now he's on message with Marti, and we see that the oppo struggles to get through us, and we can hit them on breakaways, which was the first goal and somewhat the second.

So, Marti's management is the reason Colback's game tactics and overall performance has improved. He also showed a master class of it against Rotherham. It is similar to Barry Bannan's positioning and approach, but not quite as good as Bannan's passing, but better than Bannan's on the tackling and getting up and down the pitch side of the game.

We all knew he was a good player. We thought maybe he was too old. He is coming up 35 when the new season starts but he's a very gifted player, save the yellow cards (the one against Preston even he was annoyed with himself). He's definitely playing more with the game in front of him, kind of the Wilkins position and it really suits him. It took him a long time to get fully fit from injury but he seems to have a very stabilising effect on the team when he plays in general (apart from getting sent off earlier in the season). One of Ainsworth's better picks.

Never knowingly right.

Has stepped up and shown his experience in the run in. Still worries me with those silly yellow cards like last night and against Preston, but he has shown real quality and played well last night. Hope we sign Hayden in the Summer he brings a calming influence into proceedings as well.

Referee's seem to show him the yellow at the first opportunity. Leeds players seen kicking the ball away and with more impetus the than JC, but ignored by officials. I think the same happened v Preston. We can also point to Chair's yellow a while back for a little tap of the ball after a whistle. Whilst harsh, we, as a club need to be mindful of it but a bit of consistency from refereeing teams wouldn't go amiss.
