What a time to be alive 11:59 - Nov 29 with 6591 views | paulparker | if your a West Brom , Everton or West ham fan surely the conveyor belt of managers hasn't dried up that much that we get dross like Pardew, Moyes and BFS all on their 5/6th PL club seriously what's the point ? where's the ambition , it really is all about that 40 points and 9 wins a season
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

What a time to be alive on 12:01 - Nov 29 with 4482 views | Northernr | Makes an absolute mockery of the idea that foreign managers are denying English coaches the top jobs - Moyes, Allardyce and Pards Pardew all back in work inside a fortnight, not a single trophy between them.
What a time to be alive on 12:02 - Nov 29 with 4479 views | toboboly | They'd rather take a punt on a has-been or on an unknown foreigner rather than decent lower league managers. Look at the trouble Howe and Dyche have had compared to Di Canio, Zola or De Matteo. When the likes of Giggs don't want to work for their credentials and think it should be just given to them then you know the management life is screwed.

What a time to be alive on 12:13 - Nov 29 with 4441 views | TacticalR | There was an article (in the Guardian I think) which said that what has disturbed the slumbers of the mid-table mediocrities is last season's and this season's promoted teams doing well. I don't want to be too harsh as we were never able to get near mediocrity when we were in the Premiership - for now mediocrity will have to remain a distant dream for us.

What a time to be alive on 12:18 - Nov 29 with 4419 views | londonscottish | Jason Burt wrote a good piece in the Telegraph yesterday about this. Basically, unlike in Germany, most of our clubs doing scout for new managers in the same way they do for players. Hence firing someone, panicking and then going for whoever's on the rank that they've heard of at that point - in this case Fats & Chocolado. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/11/27/football-clubs-using-managerial-s

What a time to be alive on 12:42 - Nov 29 with 4349 views | TacticalR | There was a West Brom home game before Pulis was sacked where you could see a lot of empty seats. It's not good, but a lot of these clubs probably aren't that bothered with all the TV money coming in.

What a time to be alive on 16:03 - Nov 29 with 4155 views | kensalriser | Where next for Pulis then? Hard to see a candidate right now - four of the bottom six have already rotated, leaving Swansea and Stoke, neither of which seem likely. Perhaps Cardiff this time next year if they go up.

Wales unless I've missed them appointing someone already. Imagine him managing Bale.

Sky will be though. TV only films the first 2 tiers at Real Madrid because nobody goes, or less than 50% capacity is standard and the TV folks hate it. It looks terrible on telly. On the subject of Everton, in Fat Sam I think they've finally found the bottom the barrel. It's turning into a wonderful week. Still laughing my bollx @ Brentfart, the total collapse of arrogance and lording it in the School End on the 94th min. Nectar, man. Suck it up.

What a time to be alive on 16:58 - Nov 29 with 4027 views | Ashdown_Ranger | It probably *IS* all about the 40 points - the TV money is so obscene these days. Everton are panicking now, taking on Big Sam - not for European ambitions, but just to keep them up this season. Sam will have a massive bonus for doing so and if he's booted in the summer, he'll be paid up, so he's laughing all the way to the bank. Thing is, with so much at stake, the immediate issue is safety - then worry about long-term building. I think Sam might even surprise a few and do OK at Everton.
What a time to be alive on 17:07 - Nov 29 with 3999 views | daveB | Allardyce will always get jobs as he has a very good record of keeping clubs in the division, much like Pullis his football is dire to watch but is effective at times so any club wanting to stay up is going to go with a safe pair of hands. Same with Pardew and Moyes, perhaps less so Moyes now but both have done Ok in the prem in the past so are seen as a safe pauir of hands. If you look down the leagues for up and coming English managers clubs could take a punt on you'd struggle to find many. Wilder at Sheff Utd springs to mind but can't think of many other English ones doing well so these ones always get another go.

Palace supporters were rioting in Brighton last night pre and post match. Many hospitalised and many arrested. [Post edited 29 Nov 2017 21:08]

What a time to be alive on 21:08 - Nov 29 with 3768 views | Pommyhoop | Claudio Ranieri really has raised the bar for all coaches both English and foreign. The old school English coaches must've been secretly gutted at what he did at Leicester. Leicester is exactly the sort of club that your BFS and your Pulis types would expect to be employed at for relegation battles. The Leicester fans turning on him and the players not playing for him the very next season shows what a clusterfu*ck the Prem is these days. Imagine actually WINNING the Prem.

What a time to be alive on 21:49 - Nov 29 with 3716 views | Toast_R | One thing about Big Sam - everytime he leaves a club they get dramatically worse very quickly and usually relegated soon after. Bolton Newcastle West Ham Sunderland Palace.

When I was a kid I thought Reigate was an exotic destination due to the fact that never once did I get to ride the Green Line 711 all the way there, and I didn't know where it was. Sorry, that's not why you posted that link, is it?
