This was a shocking performance and prob puts us down. But it is also a time to be realistic. There is no one in the team who has cost money so we have a team of cast offs, and there biggest problem is consistency which is why no body else wanted them!! For instance Symes went from world beater on Sat to anonymous last night whilst Edwards looked like a pub team player.
If Dunphy has the war chest he has spoken about then he needs to open it at the start of next season in lg 2.

Yeh, that was the main difference between the sides. Hull had more chances but couldn't hit the target often enough and when they did SuperKelvin was up to the task. Jos had a great game and will probably get the Saints man of the match but for me Spiderman was the outstanding player. He and Jos read the game brilliantly. Hull were a tidy team and defended well - if they can find some scoring boots they've got an outside chance of making the play-offs. Their best player was the No.27, Josh King - I'd try to make his loan deal permanent if Man Utd are willing to sell! Anyhow, full credit to Saints who continued to press throughout the game - a positive performance against a good team. Oh yeh, Steve De Ridder looked class again when he came on, surely he should play more often? And Hammond should have come on much earlier in place of Puncheon, who had another awful game. But no complaints, on this form we could well have promotion wrapped up before Reading come to town! (if Carling ran a football league we'd clinch promotion and relegate Portsmouth all in one match!)

Yee-haarrrgghhh - a home win!

What a great come back. The upcoming fixtures still look horrendous but lets savour the moment, for only the third time this season!

I just wonder if MH will be bold and leave Barton on the bench for the next match.

Barton out = the team believed!

The most amazing game I have seen for years

Ditch Barton and believe!

Fantastic stuff from the Hoops. Wasn't it fitting to see Derry (first for the club), Cisse (against his old club) and Jamie Mackie (a QPR legend already) score the crucial goals to bring us out of the bottom 3. A long road ahead but what a confidence booster for all concerned at W12 tonight.

Proof to the management that we are better without WP and even better still without Barton.

I hope they have finally realised this

Sorry I can't rate each player... nor provide you with a match report, but sitting here at work in Australia and ready to kick my computer in at around the 69 minute mark I can tell that this IS a momentous win! Nuances aside, to come from 2 down and land three huge hits in 13 minutes is the stuff of legends. It may be "a swallow" of a win but there seems to be new steel in London..?

Yes woke up at 4am here to watch the match live, At nil 2 down I was slumped in the sofa and dreading the rest of the match.

Then the commentator said Hughes was about to substitute Barton. Mackie came on and I sat up, Within a minute I was on the edge of my seat. And I stayed there for the rest of the match.

That was the most incredible 25 mins of watching QPR that I can remember.

It showed what we have been capable of for the past 6 months but never delivered on. It showed was 'team spirit' can do. The team believed they could come back and they did.

This win should boost their confidence by a million %

Roll on Saturday
