Report from the ground:
We were playing ok up until the first goal, although lacked a physical presence up front. The first goal was great movement and delivery. The scorer was marked at the next corner by lynch but he was nowhere near him for the first. The second was a great hit but didn't look right in the corner to me. Boro then started knocking it around a bit and just look much better than us. We're working and doing ok but not good enough. We were left with the spectacle of lynch up front for the last few minutes. Georges santos he is not.
My guess is two half time subs. Sorry to say oteh hasn't been in it. Washington has been wasteful a few times in good positions. |  | | |

To be fair, Boro have spent a lot of money and they have clearly more quality than we have. They are well organised at the back and we have Washington - who in my view is not good enough for this division - and the young lad Oteh up against their experienced defenders. We aren't getting a sniff there, unsurprisingly. Once Boro realised we can't hurt them they gained confidence and started to dominate the game with predictable results. We'll have to change things at half time, presumably go long ball and bring on Smith, I would be surprised if that works as Boro look capable of dealing with that approach. |  | | |
