It’s no good changing if we are just going to hire some well known dickhead. Scout the lower leagues for a young and hungry manager who’ll source young and hungry players.
1) Rule anyone out who has managed a international side or a team from the Championship up.
2) Signings are limited to players who don’t remember house phones.
3) Give then a ten year contract only breakable if relegated or average age of the squad goes over the division average.

Not exactly working for Ipswich at the moment is it? You have to get really lucky to find a Chris Wilder who has stepped up to every different level he's gone to. And didn't we try that approach with JFH anyway who was probably the most promising manager outside the Championship at the time? |  |

Nearly every forum in the lower half of the Championship wants to sack the Manager and replace him with an up and coming young, hungry one from the lower leagues who will lead them to untold glory and riches. In reality most lower league Managers are overweight journeymen with the rest failing when given a chance at a higher level. Golden boy Rowett being an example. |  | | |
