Suicidal Tendencies - You Can't Bring Me Down
ST. Suicidal for life.
Good call! Personally, I prefer "How will I laugh tomorrow, when I can't even smile today" but this is also a top track. I saw them live in the 90s, what a rush!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

The magnificent seventh and this track packs an album's worth ideas into seven and a half minutes. It starts with an oriental theme and ferocious acoustic guitar, then heads off into space, underpinned by robust basslines and crisp drumming, with plenty of time changes and different moods thrown in.

Final shot, then, number eight. Not my favourite band but the combination of great music and lyrics which carry a powerful and inspirational message is such that this has to be my choice for the last song. Soulful, truly moving rock. I'm loving the trills in that riff .

Nice. Living Colour were great.
They're still going and recently released "Shade," their sixth album. They are also gearing up for a tour of Australia and New Zealand. Does that make me sound like an exec from their record company?

7 A song of life (and dogs) When this came out i was a mid teenager and didnt understand it at all but as you go through life you recognise more and more, I understand about 80% happy to wait a bit longer for the rest, Plus its like 17 minutes long so thats extra value!
