I wonder how many people have got jobs because they're good at job interviews? That is the particular skill set that both Will Still and Russell Martin have, even though they're not good at the actual jobs.

No sure that asking the fans what they think of a manager would be a good idea.
When Lawrie McMenemy first came, the fans were soon on his back the side slid into relegation and he had 18 months of being verbally abused every time he walked to the dug out.
Gordon Strachan was slagged off before he had got through the door as he had got Coventry relegated the previous season 4 defeats, 2 draws and just 1 win in his first 7 games didn't exactly endear him to the fans early doors either.
Nigel Adkins was not a popular choice and was under pressure after winning just once in his first 4 games
Mauricio Pochetino was slated by most of our fanbase as his record with Espanyol was not exactly great, and he was replacing the now much loved and sacked Adkins, his first 7 games saw 3 defeats, 3 draws and just 1 win. |  |
