Does anyone know if the women's shirts in the club shop are a different cut compared to the men's? I won't buy/wear a shirt with a betting sponsor, so I only get retro shirts but if the double XXL is the same size for the women's team as the men's then I may have found a solution.

I’m assuming you mean the women’s team kit with the Elior sponsor rather than a women’s cut/sizing of the regular kit?

If so, they’re just like the regular kits and come in adult, women’s and youth. So if you get an adults XXL it’ll fit just like an adults XXL of the men’s teams version of the kit.

Can’t answer the question, Scuba, but I’m with you on the ‘no sponsors’ rule (betting or otherwise). It’s retro only for me too.

I'm retro too but I don't rule out Guinness or KLM as they were nice
Kits, and in the former s case, a local employer.

Well I assume they're a different fit to the men's otherwise they wouldn't sell them as specific to women? According to Google:

"The main difference is the cut: women's shirts are more tapered and contoured to the female figure, with a narrower waist and hips, while men's shirts have a straighter, boxier cut. This leads to differences in shoulder, sleeve, and torso length, as women's versions often have shorter and/or skinnier sleeves, higher armholes, and a shorter torso length to accommodate female anatomy. "

Fair play and each to their own etc. But I’m sticking to my guns on this one. Always eager to support Guinness employees though … in the Shepherd & Flock!
