After over 30 years at the club, Chris Dunphy was presented with a bottle of wine.. Even the Board from Bradford had the decency to get him something better.
The new chairman didn't even turn up to the game and say bye to CD. There are lots of issues behind the scenes at the The Dale and it will all come out soon enough.
Its a disgrace that, with what CD has done for our club, the incoming chairman could not be bothered to turn up or make a phonecall. |
Disgraceful really
How about a campaign to get him awarded Freedom of the Borough. There can't be anybody else more worthy of that award over the past 10 years than him. He has helped restore our club to health and create a great deal of positive publicity and feel good to the borough. He has achieved far more than our local politicians.

It’s appalling and I do think fans should know the full story about Dunphy. Its obvious he was shafted but it would be good to know whether it was for the good of the club or not. Initial instincts seem to suggest not. Might seem a strange comparison but this is reminding me of how Jones left the club, hopefully it doesn’t take 5 years to begin to right the wrongs in this case. | | | |

agreed mate. The fact that Directors and Chairman have to fund their own away trips is causing issues in the board room. The Board are about to vote in favour of being paid to go on away trips, something that has never happened before. They are also looking at the possibility of getting paid to be on the Board... This will only cause the club financial harm. CD used to fund his own trips and also the pre-season to Tenerife...
CD was being outvoted on some of the decisions and that's why he couldn't stay. |
But change Keith Hill out for someone else and all will be fine again.
Change is always difficult; we seem not to be able to do "orderly transition" like other football clubs can. |  |

I only speak to Dave really when I DJ with him at the Ratcliffe but I have known him since Nursery... We are all very busy with our own lives but as I said, Dave wouldn’t tell me anything about the club.

Am I alone in thinking with "things starting to creep out of the woodwork" this muted fans forum won't go ahead?
Let's face it some posters on here clearly in the know and close to the truth are exactly the people the new chair or hilly for that matter will want sat in front of them and putting them on the spot.
